Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of localaeo.ca and any services you purchase from 12197014 Canada Inc. o/a LocalAEO (“LocalAEO”, “we”, “us”). By requesting a scan or purchasing a service, you agree to them.

The AI Visibility Scan is free, carries no obligation, and results in a report delivered by email, normally within 24 hours of a complete request. The scan records what third-party AI assistants answered on the scan date. It is informational.

“Get Named” is a one-time, fixed-price engagement covering one business, one location, one primary trade category, and one city, as described on our fees page at the time of purchase: entity cleanup, structured data on up to five key pages, answer-first rewrites of those pages, Google Business Profile optimization, authority source distribution, and one re-inspection report at approximately 60 days. “Stay Named” is a monthly subscription of re-scans, tracking, and updates, cancellable any time effective the next billing cycle. Additional locations or categories are separate line items.

Nobody controls what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Google answer, and we do not guarantee that any AI assistant will name, rank, or recommend your business. What we deliver is the work described above and honest measurement of the result, including a re-inspection report published in accordance with the founding-cohort terms if you’re part of that cohort. Any suggestion by anyone that AI placement can be guaranteed should be treated as false.

AI assistant responses vary by session, time, location, and platform changes. Reports record what was returned on the date stated. A result on one date is not a warranty of the same result on another.

Founding-rate engagements include your agreement that (a) you’ll provide a signed statement about the engagement, and (b) we may publish your before/after re-inspection results — favourable or not — identified by business name and city. This is part of the founding-rate consideration.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes (HST/GST added at checkout). One-time fees become non-refundable once work has commenced; before work commences you may cancel for a full refund. Subscription fees are not prorated; cancellation stops future billing. Payment processing is by Stripe.

You confirm the information you give us is accurate and that you’re authorized to engage us for the business named. Implementing certain fixes requires access you control (e.g., your website or Google Business Profile); delays in providing access extend timelines accordingly.

Your report is yours to use for your business. Our methodology, templates, scoring system, and site content are ours; don’t resell or republish them as your own.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the services is limited to the fees you paid us for the engagement giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Ontario law.

Reports and recommendations are marketing and technical guidance, not legal, financial, or other professional advice.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Courts located in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms; the version posted at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
